Katie is a language teacher, interpreter, and qualified tour guide. Her Philosophy for Oak Tree Tours is to offer meaningful travel experiences to nurture and embed valuable skills through carefully curated accessible tours, great experiences, and joyful memories.

Awards & Certifications

Oak Tree Tours is very proud of our achievements to become one of the best accessible tourist guides in the South. We offer accessible tour guides and events in and around the New Forest and Southampton area.

Katie has invested in Continuous Professional Development, and has recently passed her T-GuIDE course: T-GuIDE: ‘Tourist Guides for People with Learning and Intellectual Difficulties in Europe’, under the auspices of the European Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (FEG) and the European Network for
Accessible Tourism (ENAT).
Katie is aware of the requirements of visitors with learning difficulties – children, young people, and
adults. She is the only qualified T-Guide in the south of England.
